On September 11, 2023, in Hainan, a video captures a peculiar sight as a neatly arranged group of mice marched their way through the streets at night.
The five mice were seen lined up in a neat and tidy row, following the tail of the one before them to form a perfect formation. Their swift and perfectly synchronized movements amazed passers-by.
According to netizens, these are not actually mice but a small animal called shrew which looks a lot similar to a mouse but has poor eyesight. Their cubs are barely capable of surviving on their own, so they will hold on to the tails of their companions when going out to prevent being separated.
